Mass of Christian Burial & Memorial Mass
May God bless you and may you take comfort that the faithful departed now rests in the peace of the Risen Christ.
The Mass of Christian Burial and a Memorial Mass are a time for prayer and reflection, to contemplate on the mysteries of death, resurrection and life eternal through Scripture and song. A Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated with the bodily remains or cremains present. A Memorial Mass is celebrated when the bodily remains or cremains are not available.
For a Mass of Christian Burial, please call the Funeral Home of your choosing. After the parish is notified, a member of the Mary's Nativity-St. Ann Parish Consolation Team will contact you and discuss suggested Scripture readings (Old & New Testament) and hymns for the Funeral Mass.
For a Memorial Mass, please call the Rectory during business hours to schedule an appointment. Our office staff will discuss suggested Scripture readings (Old & New Testament) and hymns for the Memorial Mass.
